Reassessment guidance

Suggested reassessment timing and what it means.

Last updated April 17, 2026

After each assessment, QOOM produces reassessment guidance based on the current findings and any available history.

Urgency levels

  • reassess_soon — one or more metrics are declining, or high-priority caution flags are present. Suggested interval is shorter (2–3 weeks depending on module).
  • reassess_scheduled — metrics are stable or the subject is overdue. Suggested interval is the module's standard (4–6 weeks).
  • continue_monitoring — metrics are improving and no caution flags. Next assessment at the standard interval is sufficient.
  • insufficient_data — not enough history to suggest timing. Additional assessments needed first.

Per-module standard intervals

| Module | Standard | Urgent | |---|---|---| | Gait | 6 weeks | 3 weeks | | Squat | 4 weeks | 2 weeks | | ACL Hop | 4 weeks | 2 weeks | | CMJ | 4 weeks | 2 weeks |

Triggers for earlier reassessment

QOOM will suggest earlier reassessment if:

  • Two or more metrics are declining.
  • A high-priority caution recommendation is present.
  • It has been more than the standard interval since the last session (overdue).

What reassessment guidance does not mean

  • It is not a clinical prescription for reassessment timing.
  • It does not override the subject's individual clinical context.
  • It is based only on the data available in QOOM, not the subject's full history.

Use the suggested interval as a starting point. Adjust based on the subject's overall progress, scheduling, and clinical needs.

Setting a reassessment reminder

Reassessment reminders are planned in a future release. For now, the suggested interval is included in the report PDF for reference.
